
Welcome to South Yorkshire Competition Managers WebsiteBackgroundThe Competition Manager infrastructure is implemented, within School Sport Partnerships, across the 49 county areas in England. Every school in the country belongs to a School Sports Partnership, of which there are 10 in South Yorkshire. Competition Managers are a new part of the School Sports Partnerships Infrastructure and will closely work with National Governing Bodies of Sport, Sports Clubs and Competition deliverers to establish our vision Our Team
The South Yorkshire Competition Manager Team has aligned the competitions taking place in each area across South Yorkshire, ensuring a clear progression pathway and consistent timelines across the County in all Competition Manager focus sports. Since the deployment of Competition Managers in South Yorkshire more County (South Yorkshire) finals have been held for all age groups and in more sports. There are currently 16 National Governing Bodies that the Youth Sport Trust has signed off to develop national competitive structures for clear, consistent and progressive competitive opportunities at SSP (450), CSP (49), Regional (9) and National (1) level. Each National Governing Body has highlighted their priority areas of competitions and which areas in which it is to be implemented. The sports that has selected in South Yorkshire are:
